JOB DETAILS:
Job title: Sales and Administration Manager
Duties and key responsibilities:
Accounting & Recordkeeping
• Maintaining up to date financial and accounting records.
• Ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
• Establishing and controlling budgets.
• Developing management reports in accordance with funding and executive team requirements.
Human Resource Management
• Recruiting staff members.
• Conducting staff training and organising specialised staff training
• Hiring and developing, training and managing sales staff.
• Creating staff work rosters and delegating duties.
• Completing quarterly performance reviews with workers.
Supplies Management
• Ordering product stocks including plants, oils and later fruit juices and office supply stocks.
Customer Management
• Creating attractive garden and plant displays.
• Responding to customer requests and assisting the nursery staff.
• Managing, planning and executing supply of plants to customers and projects.
• Managing planting services for customers (including workers hired)
Assets Management
• Maintaining tight controls on company assets and customer packaging materials.
• Vehicles, laptops, mobile phones, tools.
• Taking and tracking inventory of items in asset registry.
Office Management
• Cleaning office
• Ensuring stationery in place and working (e.g. printer, phones, pens, paper) and restocked in time.
• Ensuring ICT in place and working (internet), talktime.
General responsibilities:
• Complying with code of conduct and policies and procedures.
• A fast-paced environment where constant change is the norm and individual initiative-taking is encouraged.
• Performance based bonus/commission.
• Contributing to rural agroforestry in Zambia.
• Building a clean energy future.
• A passion for organization, details, and precision in all you do.
Required Qualifications / Minimum Requirements:

.Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a similar field.
• Valid Driver’s’ License.
2. Track record:
• Proven experience with cooperatives/SMEs and rural communities.
• Proven relevant working experience in Zambia.
• > 5 years work experience.
• Worked for 2 organisations (> 2 years’ experience with each).
• Prior experience working with donor (e.g. DFID) funded projects/programs or international exposure.
3. Key skill: Highly organized and strong attention to detail is essential.
4. Mindset state (soft skills): A passion/enthusiasm for delivering agroforestry products and services and desire to learn the various aspects of the agroforestry ecosystem (intelligent and eager to learn). Resourceful, hardworking, and honest. Professional and friendly character. Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service.
