JOB DETAILS:
The key purpose of this role is to proactively manage security and associated disciplines (Crises Management, Events Management SME, Investigation Services, Security Management), in alignment with the overall business strategy for the Africa Zone HQ/BU’s.
The candidate must implement new technologies, developing innovations, and acting as the custodian of security management and its associated standards, governance frameworks and legal compliance.
The candidate must support the implementation and alignment to local legislation for the associated links to the security.

Key Result Areas:
1. Security of people, assets, and reputation through the optimisation of budget, people resourcing and technology.
• Security’s responsibilities and duties apply to all departments and functions. It extends to all People, company facilities and assets (Breweries/DC’s/Vertical Operations, HQ’s/BSCs/CSOs, Sales, External Event Security (Marketing), Travel, etc). Wherever there are People and assets.
• The Security Function is transversal. Supplier Management and SLA delivery owned within the market.
• Effectiveness of the information security program/system is assessed continuously, to achieve continual improvement.

2. Providing effective Internal security management
• Providing Daily effective supervision of internal security systems. This will includes ensuring adequate physical barriers protection, electronic and other interventions that will reduce Losses and fraudulent activities.
• Implementation and Supervision of Access control systems.
• Daily Management of contracted security service provider to ensure the level of service required is maintained.

3. Safety Health and Environment
• Support Implementation of all applicable management systems and corporate requirements to ensure security management in the area of responsibility.
• Risk assessment and profiling conducted in the sites of responsibility.

4. Loss Prevention
• Investigations provides a comprehensive Internal forensic audit/investigation in house service to the company.
• Developing and implementing a Forensic Investigation and recommending Control strategies to minimise risks, losses and exposures ensuring that risks are effectively and accordingly mitigated.
• Provision of an in-house forensic audit service to the Africa Zone including research, profiling, investigation, cyber forensics, prosecution both internal and supporting external Judicial authorities (Criminal/Civil/Labour Courts) with evidence compilation and recovery of misappropriated assets/funds.
• The mandate includes cover for all departments/processes which enables the business to make informed decisions, essential is an understanding and knowledge of the various countries labour/criminal law/justice systems (Criminal Procedure and Law of Evidence).

5. SUPPORT – Crisis Management
• Protection of the company and brands reputation through providing the steer in respect of all identified and unidentified crises that arise during the normal scope of business operations.
• Crises simulation practices simulated on respective sites, risk assessment modelling to pre-empt mitigation for predictable events.

6. Business Insurance
• To assist in ensuring that the ABInbevs Corporate image and insurance fund is protected by ensuring that at corporate arranged events risks are assessed and safe for the public in attendance.
• To monitor insurance claims and costs, in liaison with management, with the objective of reducing risks and insurance costs, reducing claims, and creating savings, ensure that applicable excess recoveries occur.
• Investigating specific claims with a view to minimising exposure/loss levels, where third party damage is involved, that comprehensive information is obtained to limit the quantum claimed and protect the business.

7. Events Management
• Assess all planned Brand and Company events from a Security & Safety perspective, track all events, conduct post review of the events to drive improvement and learnings with key stakeholders. (Internal & External).

Decision Making Powers And Authorities
Takes responsibility for risk reduction at the site of responsibility. Institute breathalyzing where need be. To investigate all matters bordering on security/risk management Stop any processes or work on any site either ABInbev employees or Contractor which is considered high risk with potential to result in a disabling Injury or fatality other serious losses. Remove contractors from site if either security or safety procedures are not observed. Order for assessment or reassessment of security contractors on site.

Competency Requirements:

Education/Qualification
• Degree or Diploma in business fields, Security management, Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management, Police Management

Training:
• Security services training, Incident Investigation, Internal Auditing Course, Formal Risk Identification and Assessment Techniques, Formal Fire Prevention Training,

Experience:
• 2 years in similar position
