JOB DETAILS:
• Our client, one of the leading insurance Brokers in Zambia, is seeking to fill two vital roles of Senior Brokers to further add value to their Lusaka and Ndola based dynamic teams. This opportunity is ideal for talented persons, keen to make immediate contributions and prove their caliber.

Main Duties Will Include The Following :
• Claims handling e.g. both Non-life and Life Assurance Claims
• Underwriting e.g. both non-life and life policies
• Interviewing claimants and attending to various Insurance complaints
• Credit control
• Carrying out pre-risk appraisals/Risk Management
• Negotiating for best rates, terms and conditions on behalf of the client
• Accounts reconciliation/sending updated statements to clients
• Marketing various Insurance policies to both existing and potential clients
• Preparation of renewal reminders/pre-renewal reports and quotations
• Invoicing / Debiting various Insurance policies/Clients
• Training

Job Qualifications/ Experience
• Degree in Insurance /Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII)
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in similar role
• Or Diploma in Insurance with 6 years work experience at senior level

Skills/Competencies
• Knowledge of the insurance industry is a must
• Ability to exceed set targets
• Sound business acumen, resourceful and good analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead, manage and develop staff
• Proper time management
• Valid driver’s license
