JOB DETAILS:
• Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) Limited was incorporated in January 2014 and is wholly owned by the Government through the Minister of Finance pursuant to the Minister of Finance (Incorporation) Act Cap 349 of the Laws of Zambia. IDC is the investment arm of Government of the Republic of Zambia’s State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs).
• IDC was established with a mandate to create and maximize long–term shareholder value as an active investor and shareholder of commercially oriented SOE’s as well as play a catalytic role in driving the Government’s industrialization agenda for wealth and job creation through various investment interventions.
• IDC seeks to recruit a:

Senior Ict Officer – Operations (Idc4)
• To implement and manage all technical and management information systems and electronic communication within the organization and establish the ICT policies, technical procedures, and standards to ensure that there are sufficient systems for the organizational needs.
• To ensure staff database in Active Directory, AzureAD and other systems is up to date, maintain an updated inventory for all systems and hardware, manage and ensure effectiveness of Networks and servers and their associated operating systems and software.
• To plan and supervise Hardware and Software Installations, coordinates collection of user requirements and ensures that systems are implemented to meet the requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Grade 12 School Certificate.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, and/or equivalent Professional Qualification in relevant field from reputable institution.
• Professional Membership – ICTAZ.
