One of our nationwide clients in the microfinance sector is looking for a senior relationship manager to join their team.

Overview
Responsibilities:
• Must take good care of the existing client base
• Keep in regular contact with clients to find out when they have new needs for facilities
• Find out when they expect payment of their existing loans
• Find out as quickly as possible if there’s an issue with an outstanding loan and work quickly and efficiently to find solutions
• Anticipate as much as possible the needs of their clients, thus offering a personalized and dedicated service.
• Develop their business beyond their existing client list
• Identify new market opportunities
• Reach out to off-takers to get updated lists of suppliers
• Reach out to potential new customers to build a relationship
• Involve management wherever pertinent to build strong networks
• Understand the dynamics of their coverage area and be quick to find solutions to grow
• Use the resources at their disposal to develop the team
• Must grow their loan book organically with performing loans

Requirements:
• Must have a degree/ diploma in banking and finance or any relevant field
• Must have atleast 7 years professional and industrial work experience in the financial services sector.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft programs
• Should have excellent managerial, leadership skills
• should have excellent networking and negotiating skills
• Must have excellent knowledge of financial legislature in Zambia

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
