Job Overview
Manage and supervise the effective execution of all production activities during respective shift to ensure seamless and efficient operations within the Production department.

Responsibilities
• Reporting production status in all KPIs.
• Delegation and monitoring tasks to subordinates
• Training and Educating: When need arises
• Cost-Conscious: To operate within the approved budget.
• Confidentiality: To secure all production documents and information are kept confidential

Job Competencies
• Material quality analysis – on strengths/weaknesses of materials
• Skills in foundry castings
• Skills in interpretation of iron and carbon phase diagrams
• Technical skills in furnace operations and heat treatment
• People skills

Experience & Qualification
• Grade 12 Full Certificate
• Diploma/Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mineral Science or Metallurgy
• Member of Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
• At least 5 years in a similar capacity
• Computer: Microsoft word, excel and power point
• All round on the job development in foundry operations
