Software Developer
Overview
Sparco Inc. is a company that looks to provide financial technology solutions to the banked and unbanked by creating innovative products that people need. Our growing organisation is looking for a vivacious, detailed oriented, dedicated Software Developer to help us get to the next level.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Reports to: CTO
This position involves work on projects in the domains of payments processing, sample surveys, engineering, and the environment. The successful candidate will be working with experts to design and implement mobile and web-based applications across a wide variety of fast-moving projects.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Strong desire to learn
Core Competency Requirements
• Solid understanding of object oriented programming concepts
• Solid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts
• Familiarity with version control concepts
Preferred Competency Requirements
• Familiarity with Python, PHP, Java and NodeJS
• Familiarity with Django and Flask Frameworks
• Familiarity with React Native
• Familiarity with Front End Frames like Angular, React or Vue
• Familiarity with NoSQL database like mongodb and redis
• Familiarity with web development using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
• Familiarity with client/server application development
• Familiarity with Restful API’s
• Knowledge of agile development
