JOB DETAILS:
General Duties
As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to identify and report defects, validate new features, and verify that the software meets specified requirements and user expectations. Your expertise in testing methodologies, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills will contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development process.

Among other responsibilities, you will be expected to:
• Test Planning and Test Execution: Understand project requirements and define test plans and strategies. Design comprehensive test cases to cover different aspects of the software and execute test cases, both manually and through automated testing tools.
• Bug Reporting: Document and report software defects accurately and clearly using appropriate bug tracking tools. Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate that previously identified defects have been fixed and that new changes do not introduce new issues
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to assess system responsiveness, stability, and scalability
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies to enhance the testing process and overall software quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the software development lifecycle

Your Minimum Qualifications and Competencies should:
• Bachelor in IT or Diploma Plus Professional certificates in IT
• At least 2-years’ experience in prescribed field
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Testing Concepts and Tools
• Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise
• Test automation and problem-solving skills
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills
