Job Overview: As a sports journalist at Ngand Technology Limited, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content related to the Zambian Super League. You will work closely with various stakeholders and the tech team to produce content that is optimized for the company’s platform and promotes engagement with users. Your role will involve researching and analyzing sports news and events, interviewing athletes and experts, and reporting on the latest developments in the sports arena in Zambia. You will also be responsible for building relationships with sports organizations, coaches, and players to gather exclusive content and insights.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyzing Zambian Super League games to produce statistics.
2. Researching and analyzing sports news, trends, and events to create engaging and informative content for the company’s platform.
3. Conducting interviews with athletes, coaches, and experts to gather exclusive content and insights.
4. Building meaningful relationships with various stakeholders including but not limited to; soccer analysts, media houses, sports organizations, teams, and players to secure access and exclusives.
5. Collaborating with the tech team to ensure content is optimized for the platform and user engagement.
6. Promoting content on social media and other channels to maximize reach and engagement.
7. Staying up to date with the latest developments in sports journalism and technology to bring new ideas and approaches to the team.

Requirements:
1. A degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in sports journalism, with a proven track record of creating engaging and informative content.
3. Knowledge of sports and the ability to analyze and report on sports news and events.
4. Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to write in a variety of styles and formats.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Experience with social media platforms and digital content production.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and flexible approach.
