British American Tobacco Zambia has an exciting opportunity for a Stores Controller in Lusaka
The purpose of this role is to ensure OTIF supply to the factory to meet planned production also ensure the approved safety stock is available. Ensure 100% stock “item” accuracy and avoid stock losses due to negligence. The stores and CRT/WMs are to be of excellent Quality at all times in clean and conducive environment.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
• Ensure Compliance with EHS requirements as communicated.
• Report all potential hazards to supervisor/EHS representative.
• Adhere to company EHS disciplinary procedures.
• Report all incidents / accidents to supervisor/EHS representative on day of occurrence.
• All identified Hazards reported to Line Manager within 24 hours (unsafe acts or conditions);
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as the Disciplinary Code and Guidelines.
• Ensure 100% attendance in all prescribed training modules, as well as ad hoc awareness programs.
• Understand the Company Accident / Incident Reporting and Investigation Procedure to ensure your own safety.
• Propose suggestions for EHS Improvements.

What are we looking for?
• Degree/ Diploma in Supply Chain, Engineering, Inventory Management or related field.
• Qualification in Supply Chain i.e., Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply – UK (CIPS) or equivalent will be advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant professional working experience.
• Ability to communicate fluently and effectively in English.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and ability to manage vast amounts of data.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes, integrated systems and planning;
• Ability to work and deliver under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Good collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in a large manufacturing / distribution entity is desired.
• Experience in FMCG is a plus.
