*Project Overview:*
• Welcome to our newest circular project ‘Waste 2 Wealth’. Immerse yourself in the heart of Zambia and be part of a revolutionary initiative that redefines interior design. We’re on a mission to transform waste from safari lodges across Zambia into awe-inspiring artworks that illuminate homes and showcase the breathtaking beauty of Zambia’s nature. The project will be similar to the very successful Katundu Workshop in Malawi: https://katundu-likoma.myshopify.com/

*Interior Design with a Twist:*
• If you’re passionate about upcycling, sustainable interior design, and making a positive impact through your work, this internship is made for you. You’ll be turning the waste that safari lodges generate (think of metal scraps, glass, plastic) and natural materials (like seeds, seed pots and grasses) into art pieces that resonate with the savannah and forest themes. In that way, you’re addressing the waste problem Zambia’s tourism sector produces while bringing the essence of Zambia’s wilderness into people’s homes.

*Who are we:*
• Four years ago, we moved from the Netherlands to Zambia to start By Life Connected, an NGO aiming to empower communities to lead their own sustainable development. In the process, we safeguard natural areas so that generations to come can enjoy the beautiful Zambian nature that sparked our passion in the first place.

*Your Role:*
• In this internship, your canvas is as vast as your creativity. You’ll be responsible for crafting stunning art pieces, driving our marketing efforts, setting up an engaging website, and coming up with a general sales plan.

*Required Skill:*
