About the role
• We are extremely excited to announce that we are on the lookout for a seasoned Superintendent – Mobile Plant & Asset Maintenance at our incredible Kanshahi site operations in Zambia.
• The Superintendent – Mobile Plant & Asset Maintenance will form a critical part of our site leadership team, and will be responsible for leading, motivating and mentoring a medium-sized team of high-performing maintenance personnel who provide mechanical and electrical preventative and breakdown and corrective maintenance to our entire suite of onsite mobile blasting vehicles and equipment.
• This role is seen as an ideal stepping-stone into the Senior Leadership structure at Orica, be it in a maintenance related role, or a general management role. What you will be doing
• Leading, coaching, mentoring and managing a talented onsite team of Maintenance professionals;
• Driving compliance to Maintenance Management plans for all Assets on site;
• Complying with Management of Change and ensuring all repairs comply with purchasing requirements;
• Ensuring all Operational Equipment has been Hazard Studied and actions completed before mobilisation;
• Providing Field Measurement System Support Drives Statutory Licencing of Mobile Fleet.

What you will bring
• Either Mechanical or Electrical Automotive Trade certification;
• Exposure to leading a collaborative, happy and high-performing maintenance team;
• Intermediate computer literacy including excel, word with experience in maintenance computing programs;
• Ability to build strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
