JOB DETAILS:
Specific Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of electricians to ensure safety is the primary focus and all outputs and KPI’s are achieved within budget
• Ensuring all installations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, to assure maximum reliability and uptime.
• Meeting set work targets for daily work group activities in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Achieving results through prioritizing activities, monitoring the progress of assignments, and holding oneself accountable for the results.
• Motivate yourself and others in overcoming obstacles and achieving goals.
• Planning & assisting in laying out of work on new projects.
• A proven ability to work with other disciplines to achieve minimal disruption to plant and obtain required results.

Job Specific Competencies:
• Proven experience with Electrical installations with a focus on safety and quality installations. Experience in the construction of DC traction lines, 33kV overhead lines, cable terminations – HV and LV, cable racking and laying and the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
• Ability to multi-task & work well in a team environment
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• High regard and commitment to safe work practices

Experience required to perform in this job:
• Proven experience with Electrical installations with a focus on safety and quality installations. Experience in the construction of DC traction lines, 33kV overhead lines, cable terminations – HV and LV, cable racking and laying and the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
• Ability to multi-task & work well in a team environment
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• High regard and commitment to safe work practices
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in concentrator pants on a similar level, preferably in a large open pit mining operation or 3 years’ experience and a relevant diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Electrical Trade Test/Craft Certificate with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Registered with EIZ.
