JOB DETAILS:
Overview
Responsible to drive all QA&FS standards and programs for high-risk suppliers (FS Risk 1), while ensuring all supplier groups and franchise business partner (FS Risk 2 and 3, DCs and Packaging) across Africa are compliant.

Necessary qualifications:
• Tertiary qualification in Food Technology/Food Science
• Min 6-8 years’ experience in QA&FS in food industry
• Experience in QSR, Quality Control and global QA&FS programs
• HACCP Programs
• Lead Auditor Programs
• Team player and natural communicator
• Thinks strategic and with risk assessment
• Has experience as team leader and is business savvy
• Degree or diploma in food sciences or equivalent would be an added advantage

Responsibilities:
• Overlook restaurants and suppliers across Zambia
• Coach, support, and train local suppliers and franchisee teams
• Design and improve processes
• Lead in QA&FS projects
• Define and implement SQA strategies & policies around high-risk materials (Cat ABC material)
• Identify and troubleshoot QA&FS and Q&F gaps
• Identify and troubleshoot material concession and Product Recalls
• Identify and troubleshoot SQA related customer complaints
• Identify and troubleshoot RPC complaints
• Sourcing new and managing all suppliers:
o Designing strategies for high-risk materials and SQA supply
o Ensure suppliers adhere to international / local QA&FS requirements
o Ensure suppliers adhere to Alternative Minimum Standards (AMS requests)
o Ensure suppliers are loaded on STARnet
o Review and manage supplier KPI’s
o Ensuring supplier work compliantly
• Frequent interactions with the following people or groups:
o QA&FS Senior Manager
o Global QA&FS
o SCM Category Team and franchisees
o operations department to finalize CSL’s
o Internal/external auditors
