JOB DETAILS:
JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer the Technology Services & Projects Manager sets objectives, develops and executes strategy for the IT department. He/she also selects and implements suitable technology to streamline both internal and external customer facing products and help optimize their strategic benefits. He is also responsible for designing FinTech solutions and innovate technological solutions to address business problems and improve customer experience. He/she also manages, monitor and controls IT resources, services and infrastructure. .
Job Responsibilities:
• Translate business requirements into technical specification, project initiation, scoping, planning, execution, monitoring and control, timely completion within budget.
• IT Vendors and other stakeholders management
• Prepare RFI, RFP, conduct due diligence, and provide technical input for contracts.
• Develop and execute the IT Strategy
• Delegate IT related assignments and supervision of the IT Team
• Develop and control IT budget and validate technology cost model
• Prepare frameworks, processes and procedures in line with IT Governance
• IT Service delivery management – define performance metrics, manage SLA’s, align DSSL IT practices with best practice, monitor all services and optimize customer experience
• Ensure implementation of IT security
• Prepare management reports
• Contribute to organizational goals and support new business wins
• Recommend future state technology model in line the DSSL’s business strategic plan
• Act as a representative or consulting between clients and DSSL and / or vendors concerning technical issues and requirements.
• Promote awareness and ensure adherence to technology standards, procedures and policies
• Perform other duties relevant to the business as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer of DSSL..

• Demonstrated strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to follow procedures and resolve exceptions.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and work in a team with diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Strong familiarity with agile project management.
• Solid knowledge of security an audit standards.

Job Education Requirements:
• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, related field, or equivalent experience. Masters in Technology or Business will be an added advantage.
• Desired: Certification in Project Management, IT Governance, Security or Audit (e.g PMP, PRINCE2, Project+, CISA, CGEIT, Cobit5, ITIL)
Job Experience Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in Technology Management with at least 3 years of Project Management Experience.
• Prior experience working with FinTech or Bank added advantage..
