JOB DETAILS:
SHORT TERM CONSUTANCY SERVICES -DEVELOPMENT OF GOVERNANCE POLICIES AND DOCUMENTING THEM IN A GOVERNANCE MANUAL -MUMBWA.

Wachi Milling Ltd (WML) is a Zambian owned Agro Processing Company based in Mumbwa District of Central Province. Thecompany is specialised in Cooking Oil Processing, Milling Service Provision, Outgrowing, Aggregation and Agro Dealership. In its quest to improve its business operations and management capacity, WML intends to hire the services of a Consultant to support the development of governance policies. The consultant, working closely with the board, will develop governance policies that empower the board of directors to fulfill their roles more effectively, contribute to the company’s success, and uphold the highest standards of corporate responsibility and accountability. The services sought are envisaged to enhance the capacity of company management and the board to efficiently and effectively operate the business.

Key deliverables of the Consultant are outlined below:
Develop systems that will ensure that board members are well informed of the operations of the company.
Development of policies that should provide for processes and systems related to the entire operations and governance of the business.
Documenting procedures and policies into an governance manual.
Training board of directors and management in the use of the developed governance manual.

Duration:
The consultancy service is expected to take a duration not exceeding 21 working days.

Qualifications
The ideal consultant will have:
Minimum of Bachelor of Business Administration or a related field with minimum of five (05) years professional work experience in a reputable organization with traceable references.
A Masters Degree will be an added advantage
Excellent communication and writing skills
Evaluation Criteria
Academic and Professional Qualifications 40%
Previous experience in rendering consultancy services 20%
Price 40%
