In line with Section 39 (2) of the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020, The Zambia Daily Mail Limited now invites sealed bids through the Open National Bidding Procedure of the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 from interested service providers for the provision of Sanitary and General Cleaning Services on twelve (12) months running contract.

Submission Procedure
Interested services providers are required to pay a non-refundable participation fee of K1000.00 or its equivalent in any freely convertible currency. Method of payment is clearly stated in the bidding documents.
Bids clearly marked "TENDER FOR SANITARY AND GENERAL CLEANING SERVICES ON TWELVE (12) MONTHS RUNNING CONTRACT", should be addressed and sent to "The Managing Director, Zambia Daily Mail Limited Plot No.2381/4, Longolongo Road Light Industrial Area P.O. Box 31421, Lusaka, Zambia" and must be sent not later than Friday, 10th March, 2023 at 11.00 hours local time. HOWEVER, ELECTRONIC OFFERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site inspection of premises on Friday, 24th February, 2023 at 10:30 hours in the boardroom. Bidders are required to provide their own transport to and from Zambia daily mail. Bidders failing to attend this meeting will be considered no-responsive. Please observe covid-19 health guidelines during the meeting.
Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box situated at the Advertising Offices, Ground Floor, Zambia Daily Mail Limited Plot No.2381/4, Longolongo Road, Light Industrial Area, P.O. Box 31421, Lusaka, Zambia, on or before Friday, 10th March, 2023 at 11.00 hours local time and must be accompanied by a bid bond of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid price duly signed and sealed by the Guarantor(s).
The closing date for the receipt of bids is Friday, 10th March, 2023 at 11.00 hours local time. LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The accepted bids will be opened soon after closing in the Boardroom in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. CAUTION: Bidders are advised to observe COVID-19 health guidelines during tender opening. Please note that bidding does not amount to automatic award of business and Zambia Daily Mail Limited reserves the right to accept /reject any or all bids or cancel the bidding process without assigning any reasons thereof.
