The Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development through ZMERIP has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the ZMERIP, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for supply and delivery of Laboratory Equipment for RPA. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments through letter of credit

The Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for supply and delivery of Laboratory Equipment for RPA, in quantities indicated in the schedule of requirements, to be delivered at Mines Safety Department in Kitwe with a delivery period of 8-10 weeks.

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) Procurement Method using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" using the 2016 Procurement Regulations edition, and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations

The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Zambian Kwacha K.500.00. The method of payment will be cash or Bank certified cheque to the Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development Account. Please ensure an official receipt is collected as proof of payment

Submission Procedure
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:30 Hours on 25 April, 2022. electrical Bidding will not be permitted. All Bids should be deposited in the tender box situated at the reception. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened at the address below Zambia Mining and Environmental Remediation and Improvement Project on 25 April, 2022 at 10:30 hours.

All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than 2% of the Bid Price.

Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder's beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
