Invitation for Bids

KTC/PSU/WD/SP/01/21: Tender for the Construction of a Bar and Restaurant at Kafue Town Council Swimming Pool in Kafue District.

The Kafue Town Council has reserved funds through the 20% Equalization Fund capital component for the procurement of works for the construction of a bar and restaurant at Kafue Town Council Swimming Pool.

Kafue Town Council now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified citizen bidders for the said project

Bidding will be conducted through Open National Bidding Procedures in accordance with the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020.

Eligible and interested bidders may obtain further information inspect the bidding documents at the Kafue Town Council, Procurement and Supplies Unit, 2 Floor, Box 360021, Kafue. Or visit the Kafue Town Council website www.kafuecouncil.gov.zm. However, electronic, telefax and late bids will not be accepted.

Submission Procedure

A complete set of bidding documents shall be purchased by the eligible bidders from Kafue Town Council, along Luangwa drive, Kafue, or downloaded from the Kafue Town Council website upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K500.00 cash payments can be made at Kafue Town Council or deposited into the Development account, Zanaco, Kafue branch, account number 0246940300187.

Appropriately bound, sealed labeled "Tender for the Construction of a Bar and Restaurant at Kafue Town Council Swimming Pool Kafue District (KTC/PSU/WD/SP/01)" bids must be deposited in the tender box at the Kafue Town council Procurement Unit, Kafue District, not later than Thursday, 30 September, 2021 11:00hrs time.

A mandatory site visit will be conducted on Thursday, 16 September, 2021 at 10:00hrs.

All bids root be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2% of the bid sum, duly signed and sealed by the guarantor(s). Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend the open of b in the Kafue Town Council Chamber at the Civic Centre on Thursday, 30th September 11:00hrs local time.
