Tender for the Supply, Delivery and Assemble of Furniture

Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) has set aside funds in its 2022 operating budget. ZAMMSA therefore intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for the supply, delivery and assembly of furniture.

ZAMMSA now invites sealed bids from eligible and interested suppliers for the supply, delivery and assemble of Furniture as follows:
Lot 1: Conference furniture
Lot 2: Office furniture
Lot 3: Filing cabinets
Lot 4: Work stations
Lot 5: Reception desks
Lot 6: Dispatch and receiving area tables

Bidders may bid for all or any lot. Bids shall be evaluated on lot-by-lot basis and the employer shall award the contract(s) to the best-evaluated bidder who will have satisfied all qualification requirements in each lot.

Bidding will be conducted through the Open National Bidding (ONB) procedures as prescribed in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations 63 of 2011. Bidding shall be limited to Citizen Bidders.

Eligible and interested bidders may obtain further information from ZAMMSA and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address below from 08:00 to 12.30 and 14:00 to 16.30 hours, from Monday to Friday except Public Holidays.

A complete set of Bidding Documents, in English, may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K500.00 (Five hundred kwacha). The method of payment will be Cash or Bank Certified Cheque.

Submission Procedure
Bids must be delivered to and placed in the tender box at the address below on or before Wednesday 4th May, 2022 at 10:00 hours local time. Bids must be appropriately bound, sealed and labelled.

Electronic bidding will not be permitted.

Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend in person at the address below immediately after Wednesday 4th May, 2022 at 10:00 hours local time. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration.
