Invitation for Bids
MTC/CDF/1/21: Tender for the Supply and Delivery of a Brand New Grader

1. Mafinga Town Council received the 2021 Constituency Development Funds from the Government Republic of Zambia through the Ministry of Local Government & Rural Development and desires to procure a motor grader from reputable earth moving Suppliers.

2. The Council now invites for sealed bids from reputable eligible Bidders to participate in the supply and delivery of the motor grader as detailed in the bidding document.

3. Bidding will be conducted through Open National Bidding as specified in the Public Procurement Act of 2020 and Public Procurement Regulation of 2011 and is open to any interested reputable eligible bidders

4. The bids must be clearly marked as indicated in the table below and addressed to:

5. Interested reputable eligible bidders can obtain further Information and/or inspect the bidding document from the Procurement Officer, Mr Carlos Lwiindi on 0976326095. Telefax and email bids will not be accepted.

6. A complete set of bidding documents are available at a non-refundable fee of K1000 (Zambian Kwacha One Thousand). Purchase and collection of the bidding documents shall be done on Monday to Friday from 08:00hrs to 16:30 hrs.

7. Complete bidding documents to be deposited in the tender box placed in the Council Chamber on or before 14 January 2022 at 10:00hrs. Bids must be clearly marked and sealed. Late bids shall be rejected. Bid closing and opening shall be done on 14 January 2022 immediately after 10:00 at the Council Chamber in presence of Bidders, representatives or anyone who choose to attend.

8. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security (Bank Guarantee or Bid Bond) of 2% of the bid sum.
