ZAF-ONT/008/22: Tender for the provision of Insurance brokerage services on a one year running contract for life and non-life policies at Zambia Forestry and Forest Industries Corporation PLC (ZAFFICO)

1. Zambia Forestry and Forest Industries Corporation PLC (ZAFFICO) has set aside funds in its corporate budget and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for the provision of insurance brokerage services. The Policies will run for the period 1st September, 2022 - 31 August, 2023 with a possibility of extension to cover 2023 and 2024 subject to one-year successful contract execution.

2. ZAFFICO PLC now invites sealed bids from eligible and interested bidders to submit bids for the provision of insurance coverage services.

3. Bidding will be conducted through Open National Bidding (ONB) Procedures as contained in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2022.

4. Preferential Procurement in consistency with the Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPAI Circular No. 2 of 2011 and the Citizen Economic Empowerment Act No. 9 of 2006 will apply.

5. Bidders may bid for one or both lots, namely: Life and/or non-life policies. Evaluation of bids and award of contracts shall be done on a Lot-by-Lot basis.

8. Duly sealed and properly marked "TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF

INSURANCE COVERAGE SERVICES" bids must be deposited in the tender box at ZAFFICO Headquarters, P.O. Box 71566, Dola Hill, Ndola on or before Friday 8th July, 2022 at 10:00 hours. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of at least 2% of the bid sum duly signed and sealed by the guarantors).

TELEGRAPHIC AND/OR ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

9. The closing date for the receipt of bids is Friday 8th July 2022 at 10:00 hours

local time. Late submissions will not be accepted. Bids will be opened in the Boardroom at ZAFFICO Headquarters, Dola Hill, Ndola on Friday 8th July 2022 at 10:30 hours in the presence of bidders or their representatives who will choose to attend.
