JOB DETAILS:

Reporting to the Manager - Tourism Promotions (MICE), Tourism Promotions Officer (MICE) will undertake the marketing and promotion of Zambia's business (MICE) related tourism products in order to facilitate increase in domestic business tourist arrivals.

Principle Accountabilities:
• Undertakes effectively the formulating and implementation of business (MICE) related marketing plans in order to facilitate increase in business tourist arrivals.
• Undertakes regularly the conduct of research on business related tourism marketing and related matters in order to facilitate decision making
• Undertakes periodically business tourism promotion programmes in order to increase awareness and visibility in the domestic market.
• Undertakes periodically the maintenance of the business related tourism database in order to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of information for decision making.

Qualifications and Personal attributes:
• Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent.
• 1 year work experience
• Able to write technical and analytical reports.
• Computer literate.
• Interpersonal skills.
