Job Scope | Duties
The Training and Development Manager will support the HR managment but with primary focus on developing and implementing
Training & Development programs to improve individual and organisational performance for Impact current and new staff.
The Training and Development will be responsible for such tasks as the below:
1. Planning – Identifying and assessing current training needs through a training needs analysis and consultation with all relevant stakeholders.
2. Coordinating – The role will coordinate all training and development activities but more importantly, partner with all managers and internal and external stakeholders.
3. The role will support all needs Impacts training needs from onboarding through to specific project training.
4. Monitoring & Evaluating Training and Reporting – Monitor and evaluate Training and Development programs effectiveness and success and report on the effectiveness.
5. Develop intuitive training styles and systems that are project specific
Qualifications
The candidate must meet all of the below qualifications:
1. Exceptional English communication skills.
2. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Project Management, or Business Administration.
3. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in HR management or relevant experience
4. Must be a registered and active member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management or similar body.
5. Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel (Practical test will be administered before interview)
6. Average typing speed of at least 40 WPM (Practical test will be administered before interview)
7. Ability to think critically and handle conflicts.
8. Superb attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
9. Keen interest in the ICT sector and working with start-up businesses.
10. Good judgement, planning and organisational skills.
Additional valuable qualifications include:
1. Entrepreneurship experience in business planning
2. IT network administration training
3. Experience working with foreign companies in the United States, Canada, Europe, or Australia.
4. Experience in youth IT, Project Education, coaching and mentorship.
