Transportation Coordinator

Job Summary
The Transportation Coordinator oversees a fleet of trucks for the Company. Responsible for dispatching of trucks, monitoring vehicle movements(tracking), ensuring timely and proper engage with the company clients, management of drivers, arranging office files and company documents. To help improve efficiency in daily work.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Overseeing and responding to the day-to-day activities.
• Monitor and answer daily emails.
• Handle client concerns and direct problems to suitable parties.
• Tracking the fleet and sharing it with the client.
• Review and arrange all transportation paperwork.
• Supervise and coordinate drivers to do their relevant work effectively.
• Track all truck documentations and work with officers in charge to ensure these are always renewed in a timely manner.
• Monitor truck turnaround time and driver violations using the necessary provided tools.
• To ensure implementing safety reforms.
• Keeping company documents in order.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned

Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Software skills such as Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, and SAP highly preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to use computers and other technology for inventory.
• 2 years past experience in the Logistics, distribution or LTL.
• Degree in transportation or a related field preferred.
• Functional knowledge in Supply Chain.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
