JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for an experienced Travel Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in staff management, business planning, vendor management, strategic initiatives, financial management, risk management, and customer service.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing and supervising a team of travel agents
• Hiring and training of travel agents, setting performance goals and providing feedback
• Executing the Operational Department targets of the Company business plan, including setting goals and objectives, budgeting, and overseeing marketing and sales efforts
• Maintaining relationships with vendors and negotiating contracts
• Implementing the company’s bespoke CTS Technology system, analysing and implementing improvements
• Researching and implementing new technologies, processes, and services to increase efficiency and profitability
• Delivering the company operational budget within parameters, preparing annual Operational Budget, and ensuring Operational compliance with accounting, and reporting processes
• Identifying, analyzing, mitigating, and managing risks associated with the agency’s operations
• Establishing customer service standards, resolving customer complaints and concerns, and responding to customer inquiries.

Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience in staff management, business planning, vendor management, strategic initiatives, financial management, risk management, and customer service
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Amadeus, Microsoft Office and other relevant business software
• Relevant industry qualifications and certifications
