JOB DETAILS:
Coca-Cola Beverages Zambia requires the services of a Unit Production Manager (RGB & Water) to manage, lead and support the team to ensure that manufacturing, quality and maintenance targets are achieved in the most cost effective and efficient manner through best operating practices.
This position will report to the Manufacturing Manager.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Developing plant business and implementation plans to ensure that customer service and productivity objectives of CCBZ a are met.
• Ensure productivity and budgeting objectives and customer service objectives are met.
• Manage the manufacturing aspects of operational execution including flow of materials, production and all supporting operations.
• Lead the implementation and management of the Supply Chain Ways of Working.
• Provide leadership, support and coach Team Leaders so that departmental targets, performance and future challenges are achieved.
• Manage the execution of CAPEX process within the plant.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop annual business plan in line with strategic imperatives and benchmark guidelines.
• Monthly review of business plan and address variances.
• Define performance goals for line and raw material utilization and quality requirements.
• Drive World Class Manufacturing initiatives on production lines.
• To manage and support team leaders and team to achieve production, maintenance and quality targets in a cost-effective manner.
• Budget for and monitor capital and operation expenses within parameters.
• Ensure discipline of execution is observed within the Unit.
• Implement and manage change initiatives and projects for improved efficiency.
• Create and sustain a culture of continuous Safety, Quality, Environment and Occupational Health in accordance with TCCC guidelines

Skills, Experience & Education
• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
• At least 5 years’ experience in production, technical leadership role in FMCG.
• Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).
• Strong track record of delivering results in a Manufacturing role.
• Strong understanding and experience in utilizing Supply Chain Way/ World Class Manufacturing practices and principles in sustaining KPIs
• Experience and success in developing and managing a high performing team
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation.
• A self-starter with high energy level.
• Experience and technical knowledge in operating a Packaging Line will be an added responsibility
