Description:
Job Purpose

The Vehicle Sales Executives will be responsible for identifying and meeting customer needs for new cars within their sales territory, estimating car value in the trade-in process, maintaining good after-sales relationships, keeping records of customer appointments and completed sales, and providing detailed information on the products they are selling.

Summary of Key Responsibilities;
1. Establishing and maintaining a follow-up system with customers to encourage increased business referrals
2. Carefully reviewing sales data and statistics to plan more effectively for the future with the aim of boosting sales and enhancing brand image
3. Be proactive in generating Sales for New Vehicles
4. Proactively participant in the Planning of Vehicle Sales Promotions
5. Qualifying buyers for the purchase after thoroughly understanding their interests and requirements, building rapport, and finally matching the interests and requirements to different car models.
6. Collaborate with other vehicle Sales Consultants, Sales leaders and Services for Trade-in.
7. Demonstrate features and options on all vehicles in inventory
8. Answer basic questions about financing and other optional financial products
9. Promote the company’s service and finance department with buyers to ensure customer loyalty
10. Perform vehicle delivery for buyers after a purchase has been completed
11. Routinely follow up with buyers to ensure continued satisfaction
12. Contribute to dealership sales data by filling out standard reports
13. Cold call prospective buyers to generate new business when necessary
14. Escort customers on a tour of all vehicles and the dealership
15. Offer and participate in test drives to those who qualify
16. Work with the Marketing team to provide support as required on Social media marketing and Sales promotions
17. Any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

5. Excellent negotiation skills
6. Analytical and time-management skills
7. Good interpersonal skills

Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualifications and Experience

1. Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent
2. Must have a minimum of 4-6 years of Sales and Marketing of Brand New or Used Vehicles
3. Knowledge of the automotive industry and technical aspects of vehicles and ownership
4. Computer Literate
5. Must be a team player
6. Ability to communicate and explain Vehicle technical jargon to a layman easily
7. Must be confident, polite and aware of the general matters taking place in the world
8. Must be Customer Centric/Focus
9. Efficiently answering customers’ queries and solving concerns.
10. Must be Licensed to Drive both Manual & Automatic Vehicles
11. Must be a member of ZIM
