JOB DETAILS:
Purpose of the Position
To oversee purchasing of hardware, warehousing, distribution, forecasting of inventory. Limit costs and improve accuracy.

Key Performance Objectives
Purchase Order Management
• Ensure that purchase orders for hardware are placed by the Zambia business as per the stock forecasts.
• Confirm orders and subsequent deliveries. This includes reconciling shipments, short and back stocked orders and damaged items.

Governance and Compliance
• Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements on export documents.
• Document and maintain Shipping and Distribution Processes
• Ensure complete export documentation with relevant internal documentation is matched and filed.
• Keep records of documentation for all exports is ZRA compliant.
• Ensure compliance to local and in country customs authorities

Operational Delivery (Stock Control)
• Manage repairs and returns from customers.
• Manage the supply of stock items to internal customers.
• Attend to any queries that might originate from the customs authorities of each of consignments export/import related.
• Processing of Sales Orders and Freight Orders on SAP
• Ensure that hardware deliveries to the various customers are correctly invoiced and properly authorized.
• Liaison to ensure that Logistics Partner meets promised delivery dates for hardware to the Zambia business and report on their performance.
• Attend to any queries that might originate from customers.
• Escalate queries relating to serial numbers/activations to Corporate Supply in SA.
• Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of the outbound transactions on the monthly stock reports from Logistics Partners
• Assist with monthly stock takes.
• Other ad hoc stock related items and projects
• Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements on export documents
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting for hardware margin and inventory stock levels.
• Manage hardware supplier’s delivery and performance

Qualifications
• A Diploma in Logistics or equivalent
• Degree in Supply Chain & Logistics will be an added advantage

Experience
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistic stock control role or similar position
• Statutory understanding Zambian Customs rules and regulations
• MS Office Excel
• Supply Chain experience
• Clarity Knowledge
• Strong financial and accounting knowledge
• Financial analysis experience
• Strong performance management capabilities and experience
• Stock management Experience
• Strong system and system implementation experience – SAP Super user
• Sourcing experience
• ISO standards
• Incoterms
