Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Join a leading manufacturer and distributor of ceramic tiles in Zambia, known for our commitment to quality and innovation. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations in Lusaka.
Job Description: As the Warehouse Manager, you will manage all aspects of the warehouse, including inventory management, logistics coordination, and team leadership. Your primary objective will be to ensure efficient and organized operations to support our manufacturing and distribution activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and implement control procedures to minimize discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams for timely availability of materials and products.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse layout and organization systems.
• Manage a team of warehouse staff, including training and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Implement cost-effective measures to optimize warehouse operations and reduce expenses.
• Prepare regular reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and performance metrics.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management best practices.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in the ceramics or construction materials industry is an advantage.
