JOB DETAILS:
Mabiza Resources Limited (“Mabiza”) operates the Munali Nickel Mine (“Munali”), which is located in the Mazabuka District, 75kms south of Lusaka, Zambia. Mabiza is a wholly owned entity of Consolidated Nickel Mines Ltd.
The Mine is a modern, world-class facility with fully mechanized underground operations. To support this vision. Mabiza is seeking the services of an experienced and qualified individual to take up the position of:

Role: Warehouse Supervisor X 1
Reporting: Inventory and Warehouse Coordinator
Job Purpose: To oversee and direct the activities of the warehouse team and ensure adherence to policies and procedures, enhance warehouse section activities and manage the section’s workflow, and promote safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities
• Applying safety, health, and environmental principles and procedures in a workplace.
• Complying with health, safety, security, and housekeeping standards in the workplace.
• Identifying the risks in the work area and using the correct controls to mitigate them.
• Actively contribute to site safety policy and procedures and new initiatives and implement change as directed by the management team
• Ensure received stock is correctly binned in the correct location and marked with the correct stock code.
• Ensure good housekeeping is always adhered to.
• Maintain shipping documentation, manifests, packing slips, and receipts and update relevant data in reports as needed by management.
• Motivate and lead warehouse staff to effectively carry out given tasks in accordance with the standard working procedures.
• Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the quality of goods to internal customers.
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas in the warehouse.
• Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
• Ensure Daily posting of Warehouse stock issued in the system and report any manual issues done.
• Ensure the store’s yard is well maintained.
• Ensure the diesel farm conforms to the ERB standards.
• Ensures all rejected items are returned to the supplier and followed up on their return.
• Good interpersonal relations with other staff.
• Dealing with both internal and external customers and ensuring that all receipts and issues are done within a timely manner.

Skills & Qualifications: –
• Grade 12 School Certificate
• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent, or Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply (CIPS)
• Member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply
• At least Three years’ experience in the Mining Sector or other busy 24hour Operation Industries
• Required to have a valid Driving License
• High level of computer skills – Microsoft Word and Excel, and any computerized accounting package
