JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and participate in the maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance.
Maintain operating and maintenance records for vehicles and equipment.
Inspect, repair, and maintain various equipment.
Manage inventory, order parts, and supplies.
Train, supervise, and evaluate subordinates.
Prepare and maintain reports.
Perform additional duties as required.

Required Skills and Knowledge:
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of automotive, mining, and specialized equipment maintenance.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining gasoline and diesel engines.
Ability to manage and supervise a team, maintain records, and establish procedures for economical operations.
Strong communication skills and the ability to use office equipment.
• Physical and Environmental Demands:
• Ability to work in various weather conditions with exposure to noise, dust, and fumes.
Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, balancing, crouching, and sustained periods of standing.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive and mining equipment maintenance with some supervisory experience.
High School diploma or G.E.D.
Recognized Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Fitter certification.
Valid driver’s license for relevant vehicle classes.
Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors.
