Overview
My client, one of Zambia’s leading construction Company’s is looking for an experienced Workshop Manager for their Lusaka based workshop who will be responsible for the overall management and service aspects of the workshop. Equipment includes, front loaders, dump trucks, excavators, compactors, pedestrian rollers, light vehicles etc

Duties:
• Manage and supervise day to day activities of the workshop
• Manage fuel and fuel consumption
• Manage the stock and inventory of the workshop
• Ensure adequate maintenance of tools, equipment and other materials in the service area
• Ensure quality control at all times
• Participative leadership skills to lead an effective team of mechanics and technicians

Basic required skills
• Minimum of 10 years proven experience in managing a workshop
• Knowledge of mechanical issues, services, warranties and general repairs
• Organisational ability, detail orientated, energetic and driven
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in addition to being a team player
• Technically competent
• Mechanical qualification
Zambians / residence holders
