EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – FARM MANAGER
MINEWORKERS UNION OF ZAMBIA is diversifying its income base P.from traditional workers contribution to investments activities and therefore requires male and females or any race to take upthechallenge oftheposition of FARM MANAGER. .

Job responsibilities
• Understanding practical activities like feeding and /or preparing pasture for livestocks, fish and pig.
• Monitor animals’ health and welfare, including liaising and vets.
• Having knowledge of pests/diseases and understanding how they spread and as well as how to treat them
• Transformation the farm into a profitable venture
• Reasonable for keeping workers on task and ensuring alI activities are properly done.
• Handing the marketing and sa le of prod ucts on the farm.

Qualification
• A BSC in Agriculture from any recognized university
• Notless than 5 years professional experience in a similar position
• Proficient and excellent understanding offiled such as
o Farming various crops
o Animal husbandry
o Poultry
o Fish farming
• Excellent problems – solving, analytical and critical thinking skill
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work extra hours as required
