JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for focused data entry clerks to continuously update our client’s database. The data entry clerks will liaise with and follow up with the Data Specialist within the company as well as with the client to validate information on report forms before entering it. The data entry clerks will capture the data into relevant database in a timely and accurate manner.
Scope of work
• Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate capturing
• Entering a total of 2,000 report forms into the database (October-December, 2022). Payments will be dependent on target achievement
• Informing the supervisor and other relevant parties regarding errors encountered.
Data Entry Clerk Requirements
• Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Studies, Statistics or any related study
• 1+ years experience in data entry
• Good command of English and Nyanja languages
• Excellent knowledge and experience working with databases
• Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
• Should have a smart phone and a functional laptop
• Only available for Lusaka based candidates

Applied Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods Short Course- 7th November – 15th December 2022
Keno Institute of Training & Research offers a wide range of training and development opportunities designed to provide students and professional skills to design and conduct high quality studies. This short course offers a fundamental of research methods and research design. It will provide an overview of research with a focus on quantitative and qualitative research how these can work together in a mixed method approach. Through this 4-week short course, participants will have knowledge and some experience with working on in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies in a mixed methods approach.
Mode of delivery: Virtual, 3 to 4 two-hours live sessions per week
Training Outcomes
At the end of the training, participants will be able to:
• Demonstrate knowledge of the various qualitative and quantitative approaches to research
• Describe and apply fundamentals of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research to a plan or proposal
• Demonstrate knowledge of basic foundations of research design including ethical requirements of research involving human subjects
• Know how to write and develop objectives, purpose statements, aim, or research question
• Develop a plan for data collection and analysis
• Defend their choice of methods and research design
• Evaluate social research literature to make informed decisions

The course will feature a blend of teaching and learning styles.
• This course will be taught online, using a blend of asynchronous and synchronous teaching, as well as online live teaching.
• The course will start with asynchronous material (readings that will be provided and work on own projects), followed by live class lectures and virtual office hour consultations daily.
• Participants will be required to develop a study of their own which they will be expected to develop throughout the course and present at the start and end of the course using PowerPoint.
