DISTRICT.
1.0 The Ministry of Health has received funding from the Global Fund, and it intends to apportion part of the proceeds towards the contract for the renovation of infrastructure at the National Malaria Elimination Centre.

2.0 The Ministry of Health now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified Bidders registered with the National Council for Construction (NCC) in Grades 4 or 5 under Category B for the renovation of the infrastructure, which includes conference hall, boardroom, kitchen and ablution blocks at the Ministry of Health National Malaria Elimination Centre.
3.0 Bidding will be conducted using the Open National Bidding (ONB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No 8 of 2020 and the Procurement Regulations, 2022 (SI No 20 of 2022) and is open and Limited to citizens only that meet the qualification criteria.
4.0 The tender documents can be obtained from the Office of the Head Procurement and Supplies Unit at the Ministry of Health Headquarters at Ndeke House, Haille Selassie Road, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ZMK 500.00.
5.0 There will be a mandatory Site Visit and Pre-Bid Meeting thereafter for interested bidders to be held on Friday 11" November, 2022 at 10:00am at the National Malaria Elimination Centre, Chainama Area.

7.0 The bids must be deposited in the Tender box at the Ministry of Health reception at Ndeke House on or before the closing date for the receipt of bids on Friday 25" November, 2022 at 10:30 hours local time. LATE BIDS SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE NOTE THAT ELECTRONIC OR TELEFAX BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
8.0 The bids shall then be opened immediately thereafter at the Ministry of Health, Ndeke House in Lusaka in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who may wish to attend.

3.Bidding will be conducted through the Open International Bidding (OIB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No.8 of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2022, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Solicitation Document.
