Qualified Veterinarian with at least 2 years experience
Interested in veterinarian work that involves animals that have been rescued, surrendered, confiscated or abandoned
Familiar with non-profit organisations in animal welfare
Willing to work long hours
Needs to reside at the shelter
Performing routine surgeries such as spays & neutering
Manage all animal vaccinations, deworming, tick and flee, medication and treatment
Assisting the shelter team with day to day operations within the shelter
Prescribing medication to unwell/post-surgery animals
Daily reporting and updating on all animal profiles
Daily health & behavioural checks
Working accordingly to a monthly roster with various shifts
