JOB DETAILS:
Dreams Centre Coordinator Ref No. CC/CU/12/12/22
Reports to the District DREAMS Coordinator, s/he implements, monitors and provides technical and administrative support in the implementation of DREAMS safe space and related activities.
Main duties
• Manages the day to day running of the DREAMS Center
• Provides high quality services to AGYW and their male sexual partners
• Refers and links AGYW and their male sexual partners to other clinical services
• Supervises a team of DREAMS Connectors in their day-to-day duties
• Maintains up to date records of AGYW reached
• Conducts monthly weekly planning and review meetings with Connectors and Mentors and provide onsite support
• Consolidates monthly performance data and report timely
• Mentors the DREAMS Connectors to better support the Safe Spaces Mentors
• Ensures entry of service provision data into the CIDRZ DHIS2 database
• Works with the catchment Health facility to ensure continuous supply of commodities and ease linkage processes.
• Works with other SDHP components to ensure the sexual partners to the AGYW are reached with High Impact Health services.
• Works with the DREAMS Officer and Connectors to ensure the implementation and tracking of Economic Strengthening Activities targeting AGYW.
Qualifications
• Minimum of a Diploma in Social Work or health related field. A degree in Social Sciences/Health-related field will be an added advantage
• Must be aged between 30 and 40 years
• Must be a female
• Must be a certified psychosocial counsellor
• Must be able to provide HTS as per national guidelines
• Must have be computer literate and have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
• Experience working with AGYW and/or HIV prevention is an added advantage
• At least 2 years experience working with adolescents and young women (HIV prevention and service provision)
• Empathetic, devoted and respectful individual with good interpersonal communication, team building, and writing skills.

As USAID’s Clinical Prevention Advisor, the incumbent will provide guidance, monitoring and technical assistance to the USAID/Zambia Health Team. The incumbent will provide high level technical and programmatic assistance that incorporates evidence based best practices in the design, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of HIV prevention programming. The incumbent will work closely with counterparts in the Ministry of Health (MOH)/), the National AIDS Council (NAC), donors, cooperating partners, and other stakeholders in support of national-level health policies and strategies to reduce the spread of HIV and the socio-economic hardships associated with HIV/AIDS through various HIV prevention activities. S/he will work with national programs supporting delivery of quality-assured HIV prevention interventions such as voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC), HIV testing and counseling (HTC), cervical cancer screening and linkages to treatment,and the prevention of mother to child transmission (PMTCT). The incumbent will promote and ensure proper integration of HIV/AIDS activities as appropriate.
