Welcome to IDG
IDG is a rapidly growing international development organization, serving the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), and other international donors. We work to reduce poverty around the world through sustainable, inclusive economic development. We provide evidence-driven, practical tools for policymakers and entrepreneurs to make a real and measurable impact for their communities and their countries. We build individual and institutional capacity in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, fostering synergies between local knowledge and international experience.
Our areas of expertise include: public financial management; private-sector development and market systems; international trade policy and facilitation; monitoring, evaluation, and learning; financial sector; food security and agriculture; gender and inclusivity; and institutional support contracts. IDG has worked for USAID and other international donors for over 30 years, on more than 54 projects, in over 81 countries. We currently operate in 44 countries and have active field offices in North Macedonia, Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

History of IDG
Under the PFM I IDIQ, IDG is awarded and begins implementing the $14 million Learning, Evaluation and Analysis Project (LEAP) II, conducting complex, rigorous impact evaluations, conducting cost-benefit analyses (CBAs) of USAID programs to determine the return on USAID investments, conducting trade analyses, and implementing other economic growth activities.
2014Under the PFM I IDIQ, IDG is awarded and begins implementing the Supporting Accelerated Investment in Sri Lanka (SAIL) Project.
2016IDG is awarded two Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) from MCC for 1) Economic Analysis and Evaluation Services of MCC-Funded Transportation Projects (Mongolia) and 2) Public-Private Partnerships. IDG is simultaneously awarded and begins implementing a contract to evaluate roads in Mongolia and Cabo Verde.
We also win and begIn implementing the Jamaica Caymanas Special Economic Zone (CSEZ) Project through the World Bank.
As a result of the MCC BPA for Economic Analysis and Evaluation Services of MCC-Funded Transportation Projects, IDG is awarded and begins implementing a contract to evaluate roads in Niger.
We win and begin implementing the MCC Political Economy - Lesotho award.
IDG is awarded and begins implementing the MCC Tunisia Business Climate Improvement Project on Due Diligence .
IDG is awarded and begins implementing $74 million of new projects:
- Under the MCC BPA, IDG is awarded roads evaluation contracts in the Philippines, Liberia, and Moldova for a total of almost $4 million
- We are awarded the Feed the Future Bangladesh Improving Trade and Business Enabling Environment Activity for $18 million
- We are awarded Economic Development, Governance, and Enterprise Growth (EDGE) Project in Eastern Europe and Eurasia for $21 million
- We are awarded the Feed the Future Food Security Service Center II (FSSC II) for $22 million
- We are awarded the FSTA Moldova contract for $8 million
IDG is awarded the USAID Monitoring and Evaluation Services (EVAL ME) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
IDG is awarded and begins implementing the renewal of the BPA for Economic Analysis and Evaluation Services of MCC-Funded Transportation Projects, leading to additional Roads projects, including Mozambique.
Under the Public Financial Management II (PFM II) IDIQ, IDG is awarded and implements a one-year task order for $9 million to give the Venezuela interim government the capacity it requires to function effectively as an administrative unit.
Under the PFM II IDIQ, IDG is awarded the USAID Indo Pacific Opportunity Program (IPOP) for $34 million.
