JOB DETAILS:
• Lecturers, as subject matter experts, are responsible for formulating, structuring, and disseminating educational content across multiple platforms and techniques. They design and develop course material, craft comprehensive lesson plans and curricula, carry out academic research and fieldwork, actively engage with students, aid in processing applications, and actively participate in interviews, conferences, and meetings. These diligent professionals operate in diverse academic environments.
• We are currently in pursuit of highly organized and creative lecturers to join our established departments. The selected candidates will be responsible for developing course materials and curricula, promoting engaging discussions, attending conferences, collaborating with fellow academics and experts, overseeing graduate students, grading assignments, and actively participating in the Centre and University affairs. This role demands dedication, as it may involve working extended hours, traveling internationally, and expanding professional connections.
• To thrive in this position, it is imperative to possess exceptional listening and communication skills. Exceptional candidates should demonstrate the ability to skilfully prepare and deliver impactful lectures, while also displaying a willingness to collaborate with professionals within and beyond their field of expertise.
Lecturer Duties:
• Preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars.
Creation of curricula and educational materials suitable for various platforms.
Collaboration with fellow academics and lecturers to enhance teaching techniques and expand knowledge base.
Assignment, test, and exam setting and grading.
Conducting research and generating papers, proposals, journal articles, and books.
• Attendance and active participation in meetings, conferences, and both internal and external events.
• Engaging in training opportunities and initiatives provided by the institution.
Provision of support to students and colleagues.
Continuous professional development through extensive reading and publishing activities within the field.
Lecturer Qualifications:
• Hold a Masters, Postgraduate or Ph.D. in the relevant field of expertise.
• Demonstrate prior teaching background.
• Possessing published work would be considered advantageous.
• Capability to inspire students through your inherent dedication and enthusiasm.
• Display adaptability, perseverance, and a readiness to work extended hours.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written as well as oral communication skills.
