JOB DETAILS:
• Rapidus Africa a Tier ICT company in Zambia seek to recruit outstanding individuals to fill the roles of field engineers. The general job entails troubleshooting and repair, record keeping and progress reporting, ability to manage and Maintain, Repair and Support passive tower infrastructure.

Job Requirements
• Education Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Electric & Electronics Engineering or Telecom Engineering.
• EIZ current Membership license is mandatory.
• Job Experience: Must have 3-year experience in Installation, Commissioning and maintenance of passive tower infrastructure (transmission towers, roof top structures, shelters, air condition, diesel generators, Solar batteries, rectifiers, electric power supply, ducts, trenches, etc)
• Computer Skill: Must be familiar with Microsoft Office and mobile app data collection tools.
• Communication Skill: English and 1-2 local languages is preferable.
• Driving Skill: Valid Driver’s license is mandatory. Auto mechanics experience is added advantage.
• Other Requirement: This job needs a 24x 7 on call availability to attend to faults on demand

• Tower Maintenance & Tower cable Mounting
• Site Perimeter Fence Maintenance
• Site Janitorial Service and maintenance
• Equipment Shelter Maintenance
• Air Conditioning/Cooling Maintenance
• Other Site Infrastructure Maintenance
• Utility Power (Grid Utility Power) management
• Power – Generation Systems & Electrical Systems maintenance
• Perform all routine checks in accordance with the Manufacturers ‘Manual
• Station Battery maintenance
• Aviation and Security Lighting maintenance
• Planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities in the assigned region or zone
