JOB DETAILS:
PROCUREMENT CLERK (2 POSITIONS)
PURPOSE: Responsible for managing all records of Purchasing documents in the Purchasing and Supplies Department. .

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Keeping record of all Purchase orders raised in the Purchasing and Supplies Department.
• Raising Orders and ensuring that they are signed by the relevant authorities.
• Keeping an updated data /filing system for easy retrieval of documents.
• Assist in collecting quotations for the requisitioned items by user departments.
• Assists the Assistant Purchasing Officer in keeping records of all purchases.
• Assist preparation of enquiries and soliciting quotations for purchases of various departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 12 certificate or its equivalent;
• Advanced Diploma in ZIPS or Diploma (CIPS) level IV;
• Must be a member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS);
• Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience.
