JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
To carry out internal audit tasks and risk management of all our business units.

Main Duties and Accountabilities
• Supervise periodic stock takes to ensure that all company assets are safeguarded,
• Ensure the business is fully compliant with all necessary IAS
• Mitigate all possible financial risks internally.
• Conduct spot checks in every business unit including but not limited to:
• Cash up’s
• Stock takes and variance analysis.
• Petty Cash
• SOP compliance in retail outlets
• SOM compliance
• Investigate and provide solutions to improve overall business GP’s and margins per business unit.
• Investigate and rectify any recipe issues.
• Maintain and manage the overall asset register.
• Assist finance team to rectify/reconcile and/or address any financial system issues on either Gaap, Aura, Palladium, or any other system that the business may introduce.
• Review/audit “Fuelix” reports
• Conduct assessments to define and analyse possible risks.
• Evaluate the gravity of each risk by considering its consequences.
• Develop risk management controls and systems.
• Design processes to eliminate or mitigate potential risks.
• Create contingency plans to manage crises.
• Any other ad hoc tasks the Managing Director may deem fit.

Minimum qualifications and experience
• Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate Degree in Accounting or equivalent (Full ACCA, ZICA, CIMA)
• Four (4) years post qualification relevant experience.
• Proven experience as a Risk Officer
• Knowledge of risk assessment and control
• Experience with auditing and reporting procedures.
• Strong computer and analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
• Member of the Zambia Institute Chartered Accountants
