JOB DETAILS:
Role Overview
The Boiler Maker will fabricate, install, and maintain metal structures and components used in mining operations, ensuring durability and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate and assemble metal components as per design specifications.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on mining equipment and metal structures.
• Use tools such as welders, grinders, and cutting torches to perform tasks.
• Inspect metal structures for wear, damage, or defects and recommend repairs.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for fabrication work.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations during all activities.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Grade 12 certificate.
• Craft Certificate in Metal Fabrication.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in metal fabrication or related work.
• Valid Silicosis certificate.
• Proficient in welding and cutting techniques.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
