JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
Receipts, reconciles and declares daily collections for purposes of accountability.

Main Duties
• Receives, counts and verifies actual receipts with daily collection reports from Cashiers of various pay points for accountability.
• Receives, counts and verifies actual receipts with daily collection reports from Cashiers of various pay points for accountability.
• Deposits all collections in the Company’s bank account on daily basis for accountability.
• Ensures that all Electronic Transfer Receipts are captured for purposes of updating customer accounts.
• Prepares and submits daily summary collection reports for management information.
• Submits daily collections reports and bank deposit slips to for verification and updating the cash books.
• Reconciles and declares collected payments to the head cashier for depositing.
• Updates manual receipts in the billing system on daily basis.
• Operates as a frontline officer and responds to customer enquiries.
• Ensures manual receipts are updated in the billing system on daily basis.

Qualifications And Experience
• Grade 12(Form v) School Certificate including Mathematics.
• Advanced Diploma in Accountancy, CA-Application Level, ACCA LEVEL 2, CIMA or equivalent.
• Work experience of a minimum of 2 Years.
• Paid up Member of ZICA
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Self-disciplined
• Ability to work in solitary conditions for long hours

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
