JOB DETAILS:
Main Job Purpose
• To assist in providing timely and accurate accounting information on the Organisations Revenue Generated and to support decision-making with regard to Treasury and Revenue forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
• Daily processing of Customer invoices
• Ensure that Invoices processed correspond to approved Local Purchase Orders.
• Quotations and Utilisation sheets
• Daily tracking of MICCL occupancy and reconcile it with the utilisation sheet
• Ensure that the invoices are captured according to their dates daily and forward a summary of Invoices generated to the relevant managers on a daily basis Liaise with reservations on a daily basis to ensure availability of information that assists with accuracy of invoices raised.
• Accounts Receivable Reconciliations to facilitate efficiency and effectiveness in the collection of debts in order to strengthen the Company cash flow Accounts Receivable weekly and monthly collections projections
• Provides weekly and monthly expected receives to accounts payables for the weekly payment plan Debt collection and daily updates on collections Submission of VAT and Tourism Levy returns
• Submission of Tourism Levy returns
• Reconciliation of Service Charge, Withholding Tax and VAT Withheld Account
• Work with Accounts Assistant bank reconciliations and Cashier to clear bank queries
• Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements
• Processing of Credit Note
• Assists various departments in accounting issues and queries.
• Undertakes any other relevant duties assigned by Supervisor
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar position
• Experience in an accounting firm will be an added advantage.
