Overview
This position focuses on the development, management, and maintenance of campus-wide infrastructure. It includes planning, project definition and programming; research and communication of best practices; real estate activities; coordination and co-operation with local, provincial and government and other partners; and development of a space inventory. The job holder must subscribe to the denominational tradition of the reformed faith or such other similar faith.

Scope of the Role
Core responsibilities include technical leadership and direction of campus planning, project planning and coordination of the project development process, as well as effective collegial teamwork and advisory work with other university officials and with external and senior decision-making participants (Stakeholders). Other responsibilities include supervision of construction and maintenance works; assisting with the operation and management of the Student Labour Program; and participation in mentoring of students.

Qualifications
The applicant should have the following qualifications:
• Holds a degree in Civil Engineering or related field from a recognized university. A master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field will be an added advantage.
• Has at least two (2) years of work experience.
• A member of EIZ (attach proof of membership)
