BrandComm is registered in Zambia as a Media Monitoring, Social and Market research entity servicing clients with social developmental agenda in promoting Sustainable Development Goals; as well as Fast Moving Consumer Goods/services clients seeking to promote their products and services across different user segments. We do also serve Government agencies and Service-oriented corporates.
Working as part of a BrandComm Research & Media team, your role as a Client Service Manager plays a pivotal in leading the team in delivery of all client deliverables as per contractual agreements.
Summary of Your Role
You are charged with responsibility of managing all client accounts by way of ensuring teams charged with data collection and management produce timely quality data and reports and these are sent as per contractual agreements. This role involves working closely with the operation and research teams. One must have understanding of the media industry in Zambia, research and analysis skills; as well as report writing. Experience in use of software to generate data and insights is an added advantage.
Writing clear and insightful reports is an integral part of your job, involving proposing communication strategies to your clients. As a Client Service Manager you are expected to have a passion for understanding your client’s media and research needs; and you are expected to lead your colleagues in production and synthesis of outputs related to addressing client media and research business problems.
As a Client Service Manager, you are expected to maintain and generate new revenue streams by promoting BrandComm business solutions to current and potential clients.
In terms of personality; you are expected to have a blend of introvert and extrovert sometimes working alone and in a team setting, and help turn less experienced team members into skillful professionals.
You will work in close liaison with the Operations Manager with direct reporting to Managing Director.
Typical Activities
Core tasks related to your role includes but are not limited to the following
• Managing Media Monitoring department (Broadcast & editorial); which include monitors, IT, and Software service, provider
• Generating informative and insightful reports from internal software platforms;
• Ensuring daily, monthly and quarterly reports are shared timely
• Drafting report and sharing recommendations to our clients based on contractual agreements.
• Manage media monitoring team members to learn and grow within their role
• Share and participate in marketing BrandComm business offer
Skills required
As a Client Service Manager you need to have a wide range of abilities, which includes:
• A proven track record in client service, media management and research
• The ability to understand client media needs; while matching them to BrandComm solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High proficiency in use of Software’s in generating data/reports
• The drive to help others succeed and reach their peak
• The insight to identify problems and take measures to rectify them
• The resilience to work across a number of client accounts and balance a work load
• An enthusiasm for digital and traditional marketing
• Working in an office based environment, you are expected to be naturally organized and analytical, with a practical approach to the work and a willingness to pass your knowledge to your colleagues.
Qualifications Required
• Minimum Degree holder in Business Studies
• Experience of not less than 3 years with media, advertising or research organization
• Diploma in IT is an added advantage
