Summary of Role
The communications officer, reporting to the monitoring, evaluation and learning director, will be responsible for documenting and communicating about IntraHealth International's work on the USAID’s Ingobyi Activity. S/he will also liaise with USAID’s communications staff to identify the best news and stories for broader corporate dissemination.
S/he will use various approaches to share the important work that IntraHealth is doing in Rwanda to achieve better health outcomes with donors and other stakeholders. The communications officer will build and sustain IntraHealth's reputation for excellence, openness, partnership, and accountability and helps the organization gain visibility and recognition for its work in Rwanda. The communications officer will ensure that communications adhere to the organization’s and the donor’s Branding and Marking Guidelines. The communications officer will be based in Kigali, Rwanda with field travels where Ingobyi Activities are implemented.
