Position: Core Network System Maintenance Engineer
Location: Lusaka .

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Be responsible for maintaining the daily system maintenance and on duty of the core network;
• Be responsible for fault location, alarm handling of core network system or cooperate with platform engineer to complete troubleshooting;
• Responsible for core network related version upgrade preparation and operation, business cutover and KPI tracking;
• For problems that cannot be solved on site, collect information and feed back to R & D for processing;
• Ability to regularly inspect the system and make system plan;

REQUIREMENTS
• University Bachelor or Master Degree in Telecommunications/Electronics Engineering /Computer Science or relevant majors.
• More than 2 year experience in related fields, telecom industry will be advantage.
• Work hard under pressure and be capable to accept and accomplish challenges.
• Familiar with windows server, Linux, UNIX, CentOS and other mainstream operating systems;
• Familiar with ZTE / Cisco switches, routers and other network protocols and equipment, and understand OSPF / MPLS / VPN;
• Familiar with SIP protocol, Wireshark and other tools;
• Understand TCP / IP protocol, Oracle, SQL Server database, Tomcat, WebService and other interface protocols;
• With CCNP and PMP certificates, experience in maintaining ZTE CN network system is preferred.
